Spiritual Direction

While there are many definitions for what constitutes spiritual direction, the following is my statement:

A spiritual director walks alongside people, meeting with them on a regular basis, actively listening to their stories and asking thoughtful questions, helping them to better discern the ways in which God is at work in their lives. A spiritual director doesn’t offer therapy, life-coaching, or pastoral counseling; rather, a spiritual director offers the gift of his or her attentive presence in the life of a fellow seeker of God. Ultimately, however, the Holy Spirit is the true director.

How it Works

Sessions are in-person or over video call and typically last fifty minutes. Sessions occur on a monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly basis.

An initial session is always free, and for subsequent sessions, I request a donation of whatever an hour of your professional time is worth. These donations aid me in web-hosting costs, professional memberships, and continuing education.
